Å·ÃÀÈý¼¶College Library Anniversary Exhibition
Visit Wolfson's Lee Library for a special 30th anniversary exhibition showcasing the building's history and design.
The building was gift from Mr Lee Seng Tee of Singapore, a major benefactor of the College, and this exhibition follows the genesis of that generous donation: from early plans for a museum in College, to designs for a canal to the east and west of the building, and the coalescence of ideas around the final design.
Visit the Library during this drop in session to browse plans from architects Brewer, Smith and Brewer; photographs of the building’s construction; and video footage of the opening ceremony.
It is also an opportunity to learn more about the role of the Library today, which is not just a home for books but a source of academic skills support for our students and researchers. Tours of the Library are available upon request.

Garden Tour
Take some time out of your day to engage your senses with the sights and sounds of Wolfson's plants and wildlife.
Our lawned courtyards feature stunning herbaceous borders which contain a wide variety of plants and shrubs which provide structure, colour and interest through the year.
Several courts reflect a Chinese influence in the design and planting with many rare small Acers and other Asian trees. The retention of some majestic trees from the original site helps to give an atmosphere of maturity and permanence to a garden which has developed greatly over the last 30 years.
Gain a special insight into the evolution of the gardens and learn new skills relating to sustainability and biodiversity from our gardening team.
